Welcome to a new blog about an old house, and the unfolding adventures of improvements, decor, challenges, landscaping, and joy of being a homeowner.
Introductions first! I'm Analise and I live with Hugh. We moved from the South Hill area of Puyallup to a wonderful neighborhood in downtown Puyallup called Clarks Creek. It took an exhausting six months to find this house, make the deal, close, and, finally, move in just before Thanksgiving 2010. Not to mention, I started a new job the same week of closing! While it wasn't the largest home, or the house on the most property, it is a great house in a great area. The opportunities are huge, and looking forward, resale should be a breeze.
The property is almost a quarter acre and is located on a dead end street, adjacent to wetlands and a creek. Two parks are just a few short blocks away and the wildlife is very abundant! The house includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a great kitchen that opens to the family room, and an overall retro feel. Everything is in pretty good condition and some improvements were made by the previous owners.
Thank you following my blog and I encourage comments and suggestions.
